The objective of the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County, Inc. is to serve as a local affiliate of military veterans organizations, to act as liaison between County Government and Veterans Organizations on actions affecting veterans and veterans benefits, as they affect veterans and their families in Hillsborough County, Florida, and to uphold the ideals, principles and traditions of our Armed Forces.

Join The Veterans Council

Joining the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County, Inc. (VCHC) gives local Veterans Organizations the opportunity to meet and work with a wide variety of agencies, organizations, businesses and government officials. Membership also offers access to local government officials, chamber of commerce agencies and opportunities to interface with like minded non-profit organizations throughout the entire community. Additionally, it gives each organization the opportunity to have a positive impact on how and what services and support are provided for the health and welfare of our veterans citizens.

The Park campus, facilities, grounds, patriotic events and Memorials Plazas are managed, supervised and supported by three organizations:

Hillsborough County Department Veteran Community Service (VCS)

The VCS is responsible for operation of the Veterans Resource Center, the Admiral Leroy Collins, Jr. Veterans Museum and supporting Park Rangers/Volunteers/Staff.

The Park: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Museum: Monday – Saturday (10:00am – 3:00pm)

Park and Museum are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
